Work with AI in context

Choose the material first, then use the AI tool you trust.

Prepare the context

Bring together the project goal, relevant notes, source material and earlier decisions. Select only what the current task needs. Check that you have permission before sharing other people's information or sensitive organizational material.

The website's context preview is a local example. It does not call a real AI service. Actual plugin requests require a configured tool and your authorization.

Use your existing tools where supported

Supported connections can use tools or subscriptions you have already configured and authorized. Subscription, CLI and API access follow each provider's rules; a subscription is not a universal API allowance.

Pnote does not add a third-party AI usage fee. Product plans do not include AI subscriptions, API credits or compute. API usage may still be billed by the provider.

Check the scope before you proceed

Permission to read project material and permission to run terminal commands are separate decisions. Review the selected content, destination tool and allowed actions. Keep passwords, API keys and recovery codes out of project context.

If a request fails, check the tool's sign-in status, subscription or balance, supported connection method, network and permissions.
